Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at secretary@3cnl.net if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We'll always try to play, but player safety comes first. If matches are cancelled or delayed, we'll let our clubs know on the morning, and your club will pass it on. See our Extreme Weather Guidance in the league documents section of About Us for more details.

Each club brings its own first aid kit and looks after first aid for its players, so tell your team coach straight away. In an emergency, call 999.

A defibrillator (AED) is available from Knox Johnstone Sports Centre reception.

After any injury, the team coach must complete an Accident Report Form and email it to secretary@3cnl.net within 48 hours.

We're a development league for players and umpires, and many of our umpires are young and still learning. Please cheer for everyone and keep it positive, leave the coaching to the coaches, respect every umpire's decision, and watch from around the courts where possible. For more details please refer to our Code of Conduct.

No, not without permission. To protect our young players, no one may take photos or film at league matches without written permission from the Committee in advance. This includes photos of your own child.

Coursework is the only exception. Filming or photography is only permitted for GCSE, A Level or equivalent coursework. To request permission:

  1. Email secretary@3cnl.net before the match date.
  2. Get consent from everyone who will appear in the footage, including players, team managers and umpires, using the Video Consent Form.
  3. Only film once you've received written confirmation from the Committee.

If your child must not be photographed, please tell your club, so the league can make sure this is respected.

If you see someone filming or taking photos, please let a league official or your team coach know straight away. For any safeguarding concern, contact the league Safeguarding Officer at safeguarding@3cnl.net.

  • Refreshments: On most Sundays you'll find a coffee van at the courts. Whether it's a coffee before the first whistle, something warm while you watch, or a well-earned treat after the match, they have you covered. They serve proper coffee made with freshly roasted beans, alongside homemade cakes and pastries.
  • Toilets: Can be found in the Knox Johnstone Sports Centre
